Tiburon Bayside Visitor Center

This project took advantage of the site conditions to minimize disturbance, while maximizing use of the site, and the views that it offers. Locating the building along the ridge of a hill on the site, the project is able to utilize existing building conditions. The proposed design follows the contours of the hill, orientated to maximize views, and utilize sunshine on the site throughout the day. The secondary building is located along the shoreline, aligned a common axis with the main building. This orientation achieves the ability to provide circulation, and connect two different parts of the site together, providing access to different places to experience the site.
