This project called for a multi-family residential development in Richmond, California on a site on the water adjacent to the historic Ford Assembly Building. The response was to develop a mixed-use program design to provide space for work and markets to bring amenities to a semi isolated site location.
The design of Park City takes influences from the Ford Assembly Building, the manufacturing history of the site and the conditions of the site. With that in place, the design used a modular unit stacked and staggered stepping up from the southern shoreline. Green spaces are integrated on site and the buildings rooftops
